After years of torment from her mom, Allison Carter is pleased to finally have a boyfriend (and possibly a fiancé) to bring home for Christmas. But when what was supposed to be her proposal dinner goes horribly wrong, Allison is faced with a choice: Tell her mother that her boyfriend can no longer come, and risk confirming her family's suspicion that he was never real in the first place; or find someone to act as her fake boyfriend just until Christmas is over. Follow Allison through hilarious twists and turns and ridiculously unrealistic expectations in this slightly cliché novel written (and not edited. I'm so sorry) by yours truly, Mormoncoffee.

Imagine for a second... What if you fell in love with your best friend... The one who's been there for you, had your back, and swore you'd be friends forever? Okay! You imagined it? Perfect! Now imagine, what if they didn't love you back? Angelo Carter finds himself in that predicament when he discovers he has feelings for his best friend. He soon finds himself retelling the two year long story of heartbreak, drama, secrets and lies to find out where he went wrong and what signs he ignored along the way. Throughout the two year long narrative, Angelo struggles with understanding his feelings for Farian along with keeping his sexuality a secret from his father and mother all while feeling self regret for the way he has turned from his girlfriend Amica. At the same time, Farian and Angelo's best friend Demetrius struggles with his own issues ranging from a crush on this girl named Cassie, to betrayal of someone close to him, to a child. An allegorical story told from the POV of Angelo (semi half brother of the author)
