In early December of 1917 two ships collided in the harbour of Halifax, Nova Scotia. An explosion erupted twenty minutes later and flattened the city, injuring and killing thousands. It was named Canada's worst disaster in history and hasn't been forgotten ever since. 
This story is written from the point of letters from several fictional characters who were all effected by the day and how it carried on to changed their lives.

Some of us got to survive with the help of the government which built an entire city that would protect everyone from the virus that appeared right after the radiation went away. The city was like a fortress, no one could enter and no one could leave...except the people executed who defied the government rules. But who thought that...together they might witness the end of their world?

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. *Volume 1-Complete* Humanity was isolated in the cold vacuum of space. Mankind had lost and was torn apart, all communications silent, their species on the brink of extinction. However, people say when humans are pushed to the brink of collapse they tend to do the unthinkable, some even say humans are akin to cockroaches, no matter how hard you try to squish it, it will still live even when you cut off its head. And so when the state of the art human warships failed against siren monsters they decided to make monsters of their own, and they were Kansens. The embodiment of past modern ww2 ships that were upgraded to their space versions. With their return humanity was able to fight back and gather under one banner to push back the threat of sirens. Now, after a few years of little inactivity people think with the decrease in they would be gone forever. if only they knew, 'WAR NEVER CHANGES' as it is just the calm before the storm.
