Lance is the young prince of Altea, but his father, King Alfor, does not think that his son is prepared for the crown. He takes it upon himself to torture Lance in the dungeons in order to toughen him up, like any loving parent would. Little does he know, Lance is making friendships with prisoners which will come back to haunt King Alfor and all of Altea.
Oh, yeah. Lotor is there too. But he's, like, the Galra prince.

Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. Lance goes blind and the team needs to understand and not desown him. He is having many problems and Shiro a huge bitch. Lance is casted out by the team and is captured by Lotor. The longer Lance stays the more he talks to Lotor and figures out that Lotor isn't such a bad guy after all. The beginning isn't the best but once you read more it gets way better. !COMPLETED!Complete
