Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Four words that are meant to be the bringers of joy to parents with suffering babies. The NICU can make them better, miracles are abundant there. That's what every parent wants to hear. But the truth is, not all babies survive. Miracles do happen, but are rarer than people seem to think they are. 

Disclaimer: I know nothing about working in a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)! So if descriptions and situations are inaccurate, I apologize.
