Charlie O'Connell is about to turn fifteen, she's the "good girl" in town-she was fine with being that as long as it wasn't the biggest "Tom boy"in town. She was a tom boy though, just not a big one-she likes "girly" stuff, just she'd prefer baggy sweaters and jeans most of the time.
She's bestfriends with her neighbor since he moved next to her before kindergarten.
Lyric Parker is the towns bad boy, just who happened to be Charlie's bestfriend.
Lyric has a record, but Charlie is there to bail him out every time, being there for him,and him being there for her through almost everything.
But Lyric likes to play with girls, which Charlie disapproves of big time, but that's only because she's had the biggest crush on him since the second grade.
Charlie doesn't know how to tell him,so she doesn't,only letting Lyric play more, hurting her more, than she finally couldn't take it anymore,or for any longer.
What will lyric do to get his Charlie back,or will he even get her back?
