Alexis Greene has walls. So many that she's lost track of the ones she put up by choice and the ones that built themselves based upon instinct. These walls were built to mask her past and keep everyone at a distance; even those closest to her. She refused to fully bare her scars to anyone, because being open meant vulnerability. And vulnerability meant allowing herself to be hurt again.

These walls were built to be unbreakable.

Until she meets Jackson Walters on a summer trip with her friends. Jackson is definitely not what she expected to find in this tiny vacation town. Walters is a boy with a track record for breaking hearts-and the law-without a shred of remorse. Trails of tears and tickets are left in his wake, and Alex refuses to let a guy like that knock down her barriers. This bad boy has plenty of walls of his own, though; and scars running deeper than anything she's ever dealt with. Jackson is bad news, and Alex knew from the start.

So why can't she keep away from him?

62 Kapitel Abgeschlossene Geschichte Erwachseneninhalt
"If you turn your back to me again, you better be bending over, sweetheart." *** Everyone warns you about boys who go looking for troubles, who have bruised knuckles and split lips, whose eyes are so dark that it seems like they could swallow oceans and come out alive, about the boys who look like danger, but no one warns about boys who stay silent for way too long, or ones with rings under their eyes, boys with sad eyes and boys who whisper things so sweet, so quietly that you wonder if he was an angel. Everyone warns you about the bad boys, but no one seems to warn you about the broken ones. Bar Red was a broken boy who finally finds someone to help mend his scattered pieces. Everyone saw him as the untrustworthy, unstable beast who was more than willing to punch anyone's face in. Swear words and bad habits mixed with smirks and wicked grins are enough to ward anyone off. But, apparently for Clementine, that's exactly what pulls her in. She has no clue what she's getting into but she's about to find out. She wasn't innocent, not by far, but she had dignity, a warm aura, niceness, and stubbornness that could rival a mule. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective behavior, some interesting situations will definitely arise. Adding in the fact that Clementine had to tutor Bar for the rest of the school year and his almost instinctual urge to be apart of her life, they are bound to get close. Bar swears, Clementine hates it. He fights, she glares while bandaging up his knuckles. She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him. He is rude and she ignores him until he apologizes. Both, easily, frustrate the other while simultaneously falling into love. Broken boys are the only ones that can fix themselves so will this broken boy manage to do so before he drives away the one girl who wiggled her way past every barrier? This is the story of a broken bad boy clashing with the sad good girl. * #1 in the Red series Stand alone

Did you all like "The Bad Boy" book? If so, you'll love this book. Part 2 of the series. (To be honest, I wasn't thinking about writing a part two until I reread the first books and saw how it ended!) This book is mostly about Alexis's journey. Continuing the path of Alexis and Mason's relationship, discovering Alexis, and so much more. Remember Mason Steele, the bad boy? He made a bet with his friend, Blake, to fall in love & do rebellious things throughout the bet to prove his characteristics. After Alexis had a mental breakdown after finding out there was a bet happening involving her in it, she ended up ending things at a awkward place with Mason. They've been having a roller coaster relationship/friendship. Now that Alexis is recovering from her anxiety attack, Mason visits her back at her place to see if she's okay, talking to her, confessing everything about him. The conversation ends where Mason tries to ask for her to forgive him for everything that's happened but Alexis was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. Throughout this story, you'll find out about Alexis's innocence until one night. Mason was furious, angry, hurt, and betrayed. What will happen next? Will Alexis finally be with Mason? Can Alexis change Mason for the better? Will Mason want to be with Alexis after she explains herself to him? Will Alexis finally understand what it's like to be loved? .................................................................. ............................... Read to find out more about their story. If you like this story, please give it a vote or add to your library. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I love writing it :)
