First off, the characters in here are made and owned by Rick Riordan. I did not make them unless they are childhood friends of Silena or Charles, or their family. In that case, they are characters that I have made up for the sake of the story. This is a Charlena AU here they are not children of the gods, the respective parents that were in Rick Riordans story, Aphrodite and Hephaestus both are deadbeats and left their families, but never met each-other. Charisse and Chris are included, because I just love Clarisse's and Silena's friendship so much, I had to.
This AU is set in the Village Silena and her Father lives in. She still helps out in the shop, she was never a daughter of Aphrodite. She is just like she is in the books except her powers though. Charles Beckendorf moves there Junior year in high school, after his mom wants to open a shop in a small town, quaint and quiet town. He is just like he is in the books too, except with those extra powers he get from Hephaestus. They both meet in high school, and become best friends. They both have struggles of their own, and struggles their families have to face. But what happens if there are mortals in here only? No gods and goddesses to screw with their life.

Disclaimer: i wrote this back in high school when i was highly mentally unstable, pulling all nighters, and over exerting myself in all sorts of ways. For you theater kids out there, I wrote a good portion of this during tech week. At no point in this story did i know what was going to happen next. There are plot holes, weird turns in the story, its a little cringy sometimes, and partway into it someone started pressuring me to follow a certain character. There are some funny moments, a little bit of smut, lovable characters. Looking back there are some moments that i really love, but if you are looking for a story that makes a lot of sense and has a strong story you are in the wrong place. A Whole New World...Or Possibly Life
Y/N was starting over and wasn't getting any younger. She definitely had baggage and wanted to try something where nobody knew her, moving to Boston, and beginning her second act. She wandered around until she found herself on the streets of London, where she eventually bumped into a tall man dressed in a butlers outfit and a young boy at his side. Celeste almost fainted from seeing them; she was face to face with characters from her favorite anime! Ciel Phantomhive offered Celeste room and board at his manor, as long as she worked for him as a maid. Knowing she needed a place to stay until she could find a way back home, Celeste accepted the offer. Taking up residence with Ciel at the Phantomhive manor, Celeste began her journey. The Butler and Ciel are confused by her strange behavior and way of speaking and even more confused by her lack of willingness to talk about herself to them.
