In a black and white life, there are only okay and horrible days. Perfect doesn't exist and fairy-tale endings only happen to those without problems. Pain doesn't end, nightmares don't last for a night, and your best friend may not always be there.
That's what Venus learned when her mom got cancer, her best friend got invited on a tour of a life time, and she met a guy who was surely the answer to all of her problems.
Alex Gaskarth -the lead singer of All Time Low- thinks he knows everything, and he thinks he can fix everything, including the girl he couldn't afford to lose. Except there's one boy who threatens to turn all that upside down; and Venus herself doesn't even know it.
This is a story of heartbreak, of struggle, arguments, and rivalries; it's a story of true love and with every chapter, another mystery is solved.

(WILL BE DELETING SOON!) After almost six years of being together, twenty-four year old Alex Gaskarth knows exactly what he wants; and that's to be with Jack, forever. The problem is though, is that Jack isn't quite sure what he wants - yet. Leading Alex to make the hardest decision of his life and be forced to finally move on after years of patiently waiting for something more. But what happens in a year when Alex unexpectedly gets an envelope in the mail inviting him to attend Jack's wedding? Disclaimer: the story title is from Marianas Trench's song By Now. Duh. Also, the song was sort of an inspiration for this story. But the plot and storyline is all mine. Except for the characters. I don't own the characters, sigh. Just their personalities that I've made up for fiction sake for the story. Warning: BUTT SEX. Sorry not sorry.Complete
Ghost Of You (Jalex)
-COMPLETED- Jack Barakat ended his own life eight years ago at the young age of nineteen. Or... that was the common belief, anyway. Alex Gaskarth was left to deal with the heartbreak that was destined to haunt him every time winter came around, every time he heard a guitar, and, truthfully, with every breath that entered his lungs. Jack was painted on everything in Alex's mind. His hands felt cold without Jack's fingers intertwined with his; his lips felt useless without Jack's pressed against them; his heart felt empty without Jack's love there to fill it. Until, given some time and some good friends, everything changes. ==+== POV switches between multiple people. Inspired by "Ghost Of You" by 5 Seconds Of Summer. The only trigger warning is the mention that Jack has committed suicide in the past. Otherwise, this will be a safe fanfiction with the exception of cussing. Started: December 9, 2019. Finished: December 16, 2019.Complete

Constellations, Alex Gaskarth, All Time Low
What does she have that I don't? Alex tried to talk to me, but I ignored him and walked off. "Good luck man, when she's pissed, she doesn't stop being pissed for a few days." Gavin sympathizes with Alex. I don't want to tell anyone what happened, and I'm not going to. I wait for All Time Low to go on stage. I'm not gonna be a cunt and quit on him just because he did with me. I wait for a little while and then head out at my que, singing, bowing, and walking off and going to my bus. "If Alex comes by tell him I already went to bed. I don't want to talk to him." I mutter at the guys, going into the bathroom, taking off my makeup before climbing into bed in my sports bra and sweat pants. ●●●● Petal is a girl who loves music, and has always had a passion for it. She's in a band, touring with her favorite band around the world with her best friends. It's a little crazy, being a girl with bipolar depression around people who never seem to truly understand. Alex is a player just like Jack, only has been in a few serious relationships. He likes a challenge, and Petal is one hell of a challenge that he is scared to fall in love with. "You won't leave me, right?" I ask, tears in my eyes. "I won't ever, ever leave you. You help me line up things in my life, you and all the events in my life, have proven that it's all a big constellation." *In this, Lisa and Alex never got married. Lisa won't be mentioned, she doesn't exist, I think she's too wonderful for anyone to talk bad about.*Complete
