Kakashi, Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto know that they are the only ones who are capable of stopping the war. Kaguya intends to take all chakra from ninja, and the only ones standing in her way are Team 7 and now Obito.
However, things take a turn for the worst on the battlefield, and Kaguya is unleashed. Kaguya has killed Obito, so their fate is sealed. The attempt that Team 7 made to seal her failed, since Kaguya was too fast. They had risked everything on that try, and now it was too late. Team 7 was about to die.

Summary: Team 7 is shot back into the past during the war. Instead of fighting to get back, their objective is to completely rewrite the past. In their rewriting, they make some discoveries, and end up dealing with new and old problems.
