However the beautiful daughters of the King and Queen prove to be a salve to his irritation. The lovely Freya and Sigyn. But with the threat of war on Vanaheim's doorstep, Loki is too concerned with escaping to think about love.
At least that is what he tells himself.
Jealousy, rage, deception and betrayal are the foundation of Vanaheim and Sigyn, Freya, and their brother Freyr are meant for the crown. But there can be only one.

Sigyn, Princess of Vanaheim, and Thor, Son of Odin, are arranged to marry for the sake of their realms. Neither of them want it. Neither of them love each other. The young God of Mischief, however, brews himself a plan. But, with all the bad luck in the nine realms, Loki falls for the young Princess. Young love blossoms like a flower from its bud. Both families are against it and try everything in their power to keep them apart. It's not an ideal match. The silver-tongued Prince cannot be trusted to keep everlasting peace. Sigyn, queen of Vanaheim was completely unimpressed with the 'peace offering' that was currently chained up at the foot of her throne, panting and coughing on her silk robes and looking away in either frustration or humiliation. Either way, this man was clearly not as willing a peace offering as Odin had previously said. Perhaps it was the bleeding, cut eyebrow or the bruised jaw which was covered with a mouthguard that gave it away. Odin himself was standing to the side of the throne room, looking rather impressed with himself, his eyes flitting from the chained man to the unimpressed queen of Vanaheim, waiting to gauge her reaction. Sigyn allows Loki, forgotten prince of Asgard into her home and life, bonding with him and eventually allowing herself to enjoy his company, but as time goes on things become more complicated and more problems arise, but will they be solved? Or will it blow up in their faces, only to be forgotten again? I don't own marvel, Loki, Thor, Odin or Amora, even Sigyn is taken from marvel (but lets be honest its much better than the wet paper bag that is comic book sigyn) and Lord Balinir is my own creation.

Loki, who doesn't even know if he believes in love at all, finds himself in a very odd position, especially because he's met his betrothed before. A marriage date is set, but both the bride and the groom are less than satisfied. Can love grow out of circumstance? One beautiful night on Asgard, Odin was holding a ball at the royal palace for his two sons in hopes of finding them wives. The palace was buzzing with all sorts of royalty mingling with the royal family. There's a beautiful young goddess at the ball with her parents, Aphrodite. the goddess of love and Hermes. the messenger of the gods. The goddess Aphrodite introduces her daughter to Loki, but the young goddess is very shy so, she shies away from him. Loki is drawn to the young goddess. He finds her shyness endearing and wishes to get to know her better. Unbeknownst to Loki, Aphrodite and Hermes are just using their daughter as a pawn to get close to the throne as well as acquiring a piece of Asgardian land. When Loki finds out what her parents are up to, he's even more determined to get her away from her parents so they can't use her anymore. Conflict in soothes between Loki and the young goddess' parents. The young goddess' parents try to come between Loki and young goddess. They even go as far as sending her brother to try and bring her back to Olympus. Much to the dismay of Aphrodite and Hermes the young goddess' brother and Loki become fast friends due to the care that they share for the young goddess. Will Aphrodite and Hermes keep trying to come between Loki and the young goddess? Or will they leave them alone so they can start a life together? Only time will tell if Loki and the young goddess will be together or destiny to be apart.
