"What?" I asked, though I did not quiet like the voice of my sound. wait.........no, I meant the other way around.
"You heard me. Don't pretend like you didn't" He said, not breaking eye contact. Is it just me or is he inching closer?
"I heard you. I just...... I ...... um...." For goodness sakes Wendy, Focus.

And then...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unexpected turns in life, she can deal with.
An unexpected prince charming, she can't.
Wendy has always been the good girl, with a love for cheesy, romantic novels where the guy sweeps the girl off her feet. She has never done anything bad, never disgraced her parents, never let them down. The only drawback, she loves proving her point, no matter who her opponent is. She has everything she wants, or does she?
Then there is your typical jerk in the name of human race, David. The player,  the bad boy, with a new girl in his arms every night. He does what he wants without giving a thought about it's consequences. He does not have a heart, or does he?
In a new place, new things are bound to happen.
New school. check.
New friends. check.
New, more like only, enemies. check.
With everything being new, what about feelings?
Will Wendy change herself, or will she stay the same good old kid, even if it means losing the only thing she has cared for so deeply in life?
Throw in a couple of ex's, crazy friends and a little bit of jealousy, and Voila, you have got yourself an unexpected prince charming.
Soon I was as drunk as I could be. I have no idea where I was going but I bumped into a really buff scary looking guy. I frowned for a second then I spoke. "Hey watch... where you are going!" I shout nearly falling. He catches me as soon as I fall. "Ms. I call for no trouble-" "Are you always this huge?" I said interrupting him. He guffaws for a moment then he replies. "Ma'am I am always this huge. But could you stop drooling on me?" We both looked down and that wasn't drool. I accidently peed on his shoes. My face turned a faint pink. He didn't look so amused by the action though. "What the hell woman?! You just ruined my-" Lexy hurries over seeing I am in trouble. Her eyes dart to me angrily. After it seemed like hours of her staring at me she gives the buff guy a puppy eyed look. "Sir I am so sorry. My sister is just well as we can both see very drunk." He looks at her with annoyance in his eyes. "Well no fucking kidding." He says then he storms off to somewhere. Lexy gives me a 'I am going to kill you' look. "Kay how on earth do you manage to pee on someone without knowing- you know what never mind don't answer that question." She says with a very irritated expression on her face. We turn to leave but the buff man is back this time he looks more pissed than before. "I will send you the bill." He says as he gives Lexy a paper. But my stomach was turning and I felt like crap at this moment. I was too dizzy to see what they were doing at this point. My eye sight faded to black and I fell into a deep sleep." I smiled at him but tears were starting to blur my vision together. "I hate you." His smile faltered and he looked taken back, "Not like that, Drake. I hate you because you make me cry. You're supposed to beat up the guys who make me cry, not be one of them." "But they are happy tears, right?" he clarified. I smiled and nodded my head, before gripping his shirt, pulling his body against mine. "I'll never make you cry because you're sad, understood? I'm never leaving you." I didn't respond this time, I just sat in his lap, holding his torso and he played with my hair. "I don't know if I can let you in yet Drake," I told him truthfully, the one thing I had been dreading telling him. "I know. But I'll never hurt you like the others have. I-"he cut himself off and took a deep breath. "Riley?" he moved me away from his shirt. I looked at him in the eyes and say an emotion. One I hadn't seen in a long time and one I haven't seen in his eyes before. "Can I kiss you?" __________________ Drake was the player of the school. Everyone knew his name. Riley was the nerd of the school. No one knew her name. Complete opposites but for some reason, opposites seemed to attract. Riley knew that Drake had a new girl every week, but she felt like she could change him. And maybe she could. Maybe she'd be different. *Based on a true story*
