Why can' Lacy remember that night? She was hit on the head and left in an apartment that was soon set on fire. Was someone trying to kill her? Even though Lacy can't remember most of that night after consuming so much alcohol and being struck on the head, she is glad to be rescued by the handsome fireman, Adam. He hurts his arms and is a bit beat up after the rescue mission, but he still stays by Lacy's side after her accident because there is something that tells him she needs to be protected. He's drawn towards her in a sense he can't control. Will they both be able resist the bond that is pulling them closer together?
