It's wolfstime, the foreboding period around each full moon when villagers must protect their homes and families against the giant ferocious wolves that roam the forest. On the day Red turned 13, Granny gave her a special red cloak upon which a spell had been cast to protect Red from wolves.
Red is now 16 and is desperately trying to fit in among her peers, save Granny's failing bakery business, and, of course, protect herself from wolves. Her crush on Peter and her determination not to let the mean girls sabotage her blossoming romance cause Red to make some questionable choices.
Will these choices let the wolves in? Will Red pick the right battle? Will her skills be strong enough to keep her alive?

Now, Red is a story book character, but here is a story that nobody has ever heard of before. Red Ridinghood is a wolf hunter to the third degree. She is twenty five with brown hair. Her eyes as white as ice. This is how werewolves think that she's one of them, but she's not. Red carries around a bow and arrow in her little basket so that she doesn't seem suspicious. Her gran made it for her before she died from a werewolf attack. Red's first werewolf was at the age of fifteen when gran died and she has been killing ever since. But let's just go through the background details. When Red was about five, she got a red hood and a basket. She would always go from her little cottage to Gran's old home by a pathway, that was eroded with weeds and daisies, so that she could deliver her mother's famous home made jam drop biscuits. Now this is a time without any cars so it was about a half an hour's walk. Yes, Red would always hear things in the forest an turn around to see who it was. No one there. So she kept walking. The only thing is that you can never fall for a werewolf. This was going to be hard. Warning: the following chapter may contain corse language, spiritual violence and fantasy drama.Terminé
