Anne and her bestfriend grow apart when they go off to different highschools. It's only then that Anne realises she might have liked Kaden as more than a friend. It didn't make it any better that he had admitted having the same feelings for her and she'd kept turning him down. Now he was gone and it was too late. They still talked and all but as months grew into years it just wasn't the same anymore. Anne missed Kaden and it was driving her crazy. Until suddenly he was always there with her, everywhere. She began to imagine her own Kaden a figment of her imagination that would never leave and who she could tell everything. Sometimes it's easier to let someone be on loop in your mind than to let go.
