Yuki Appleton is the only child of the Great Charles Appleton, a prosperous businessman. Because of her half Japanese heritage, she is not acknowledged by the other children and is usually alone. Her father Sends her away to stay with her Aunt Marielle to learn the proper etiquette of a lady in hopes that it will help her prosper in society. However when sent there she learns that her Aunt is just a disapproving of her as the rest of society. Constantly bullied by her Aunt and cousins she runs off into the forest and finds an underground cell that holds the mysterious Sylvester.
