"Well so much for that." Sterlyn said as he got up and brushed off some dirt before shivering. "This place gives me the creeps.. Come on. We need to find Drei and Hazel. Summer nodded before following him as a scream was heard in the distance. The two ran to the source of it to find Andrei being attacked by a creature with several limbs; one holding an axe. "Drei!" Ster called before going to help his brother.

I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."

The skin was rough and appeared to be cracked into dark, solid flakes. The fingers were bony and narrow with long, curved nails. Blade looked up into the man's face. Forcefully pulling the flail back, the hooks rip chunks of skin from the wolfs body as I spin the chain around my wrist and above my head like a helicopter, just as two more wolves jump towards me baring teeth and snarling menacingly. I propelled the flail right and it connected - hard - with the face of a wolf, blood gushing from the open wound while the other end connected with the jaw and slices straight through. With my knee and hand on the ground as my right leg extended out, the flail ready on my right, I looked up, prepared for the next attack, only to be greeted by what looked like, over a hundred massive growling wolves. There, standing in the centre, was one GIGANTIC pure white one with honey amber eyes boring into me. A shiver of excitement flowed through me. The large grey and black wolf nods and shifts into human form, "what are you doing here?" He barks. "I seek the Alpha." My head hung low while my eyes darted left to right, awaiting their next move.

Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.
