After living for over ten thousand years, Damian has lost hope for anything exciting to happen in his life- after all, all he does is survive by brutally draining and consuming the blood of living things. Not much can really take a vampire by surprise after they've been feared for so long; so imagine how he feels when he feels a tug on his conscious bringing him to a village where he finds a living sacrifice waiting for him, and an unwilling one at that.
