I stared across the classroom at him. His hair looked messier than any other day. His muscles were tense and forced to not turn around and look back at me. His eyes colored honey were staring blankly at something. They were almost empty. Almost.
I stared at the reflection on my phone. I didn't know pain and hurt could be seen in someone's face until I saw mine.
I laughed sadly.
In the notebook that was on my desk I scribbled:
'I'm living a life that doesn't feel like mine anymore.'
Sigh.

"No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever."
