I fell backwards. I heard her scream my name. Everything went numb in my body. Everything was blurry and my hearing was muffled. I could hear Nova sobbing but she sounded distant. 

I was expecting to hit the ground soon, but I didn't.'

Nova Starlight was the fairest in the land. Every guy wanted her. For a lot of reasons. She was the princess of one of the most powerful kingdoms around. She belonged to the Stardust Kingdom. Another reason was her beauty. She had the features of what seemed a goddess. Everything about her was perfect.

Kano Travinski kept to himself. He was attractive, but not enough to attract the eye of any princess. He was from the Nightingale Kingdom. Their kingdom was almost ruined. His parents sought out to the Stardust kingdom with their eldest son in hopes of him falling for their only child. 

When Kano and Nova become star crossed lovers, nothing would tear them apart. At least that's what they thought. 

When Firefly, the king of the Fire Kingdom, the most powerful kingdom in the land, comes into the mix, he could ruin the lovers forever. 

Was Kano's act of love really the right thing to do to keep Nova safe?
