This story's timeline takes place before Jack Frost becomes a guardian and before Phantom Planet.
After Danny is murdered by Vlad he becomes full ghost. He doesn't want to cause anyone any type of trouble, so he leaves. He doesn't enter the Ghost Zone or stay with anyone he knows. He just wanders for a few years, keeping to himself. He stays in isolation from everyone, but this changes when he has a run in with another teen with white hair.
