The war against demons is strong, to strong at that. There has been many years of fighting them and many year that the people have died. One thousand years ago an angel rose up when summoned by a human and the human asked the angel for its blood. With that blood the first Shadowhunters were made. Half human, half angel, beings with immense power. They have spent one thousand years warding off the demons but more and more have spilled in over the years. This is the story of one of those Shadowhunters, her constant and continuous life fighting off the demons. But she is raised differently from other shadowhunters, there strict and death ridden life styles. She will battle thru love, hate, death and life. This is her story.
