He checked the time it was 10:00 am. His head was pounding with pain and his heart was pounding with fear. He quickly dialed Sarah's number and waited patiently for her to answer.

It had been an hour since I had gotten the call that changed my life. It still hadn't hit completely hit me yet, probably because it was only 3 a.m. I wasn't crying like everyone was expecting me to be doing.
