Well, what if the story was twisted a bit. Instead of a maiden, it would be a young boy. And instead of a slipper - a song.

Then she runs away from him after clock strikes midnight, drops her glass slipper, the male lead founds the slipper and says that he will marry the girl that fits the shoe. goes to each house of the kingdom the next day, goes to the fml's house, the stepsisters tried the shoe but didn't fit them, then the fml tries the shoe and it fits, then the male lead and the fml got married! Bam! that's how it goes, right? But, what if the stepmother and stepsisters were all male? What if the fairy godmother was a male?
