Rose is a headstrong 10 year old girl who is living in the middle of World War II. When her parents tell her that both her and her younger brother are to travel from England to Canada as war guests, she is appalled. She doesn't want to go! Once in Canada, Rose finds it difficult to adapt to her new life and begins to slip further into misery. She can't understand or use Canadian slang properly, no one is willing to become friends with her, and she doesn't feel welcome in her new home. Will everything turn out for Rose, or will she get herself into more trouble?
Ideas are loosely based off of Kit Pearson's book trilogy, Guests of War. No copyright intended.

[ABANDONED} About 50 years ago, society began accepting regression. More research was done, and tests were then created and perfected to identify regressors and possible caregivers, along with matching them up and creating places spesifically for them. Daycares, playgrounds, hospital units. Everything was safe and accepting, from a legal standpoint at least. Jake was a regular college student. He played soccer, he went to his classes, he partied every other weekend, and he shared his dorm with his best friend, Mason. They both took the test at once, knowing what they'd likely be, but.. they weren't correct. Or even close. Now Jake's stuck with 3 caregivers, struggling to accept that he's a regressor, and having to adjust to his entire life changing in front of him without him having much of a say in it. At least he can still go into engineering like he wanted, right? Or is that being taken away from him too?
