Julia King is barely surviving the jungle that is New York City, working a job that she hates while struggling to pay off her student debt, so she is not at all overjoyed when she receives a spot on jury duty. Especially when she has to sit through a trial where the defendants are all rich college douches who depend on their parents for everything.

Maxwell 'Max' Campbell is one of the rich college douches. After a drunken night, he and his Columbia frat brothers are quickly put on trial. When their actions are questioned, a jury must come in to choose one of the two outcomes and one of these jury members isn't too happy to be there.

What happens when they meet things start unexpectedly? What happens to the trial? What happens to their lives?
