Clara Fierston gets accepted to go to college at the University of Oklahoma. She had a 3.95 GPA and a well-rounded transcript. While studying music business, she is on the softball team as the starting catcher. The thing is, she is a werewolf. Not only that, she is one of the last of the rare hybrids in werewolf history. She doesn't have her own wolf form to switch through. That means, people are out to get her. Not just any people. Vampires. Vampires, who's main goal is to rid the earth of those hybrids and make the world their version of perfect. They're trying to time it right. Meaning, that there is a lunar eclipse at the College Softball World Series. That will trigger a werewolf hybrid's transformation throughout the day if they're not careful. She could be exposed on live tv. Then, Clara must determine which friends to trust. Will she trust her acquaintances? Will her entire team support and lift her up?

Of course, he had the help of his mother, the Queen, whom was a simply always very generous and kindhearted woman. The Queen unknowingly made sacrifices to magically find the mate of her son, that costed her good health done by an untrustworthy powerful witch. Knowing her son won't be alone for too much longer now made the Queen fully accepting of her future fate. But Silas's strong uncertainty of ever wanting a mate has made it just as confusing when he suddenly meets the person whom he never thought existed.

Fifteen year-old Madi Treble is the best player on her all star softball team in Maine . She is the only werewolf on the Penobscot Wolves. It's uncommon to have a werewolf on softball teams. Causing Madi's mother to go missing, and maybe dead. Her performances are more extraordinary than her teammates and they keep winning games because of her. She is the #1 catcher and #2 pitcher on her team, throwing people out and each inning pitching, she is "lights out." Her teammate, Laura, keeps questioning her why she is so good. Laura happens to find out what she is. Will Laura keep her secret or will she spread the word and have Madi's life at stake? Will another teammate find out? They are entered in a tournament in North Conway, facing elite teams. The elite teams will have vampires that have experience, and are extraordinarily good. They play the Mass Drifters in the championship and Madi has no choice but to use her ability. Will Madi's abilities show her team what she really is?
