"NO SON OF MINE IS GAY!" My father shouted from across the room. I turned away from my mom and looked at him, tears streaming down my face. "I'm sorry." I whimpered. My mom looked at me with a mix of horror and disgust on her face. "You..you..you.." was all she managed to get out. "I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS BEHAVIOR IN MY HOUSEHOLD," my dad screamed, stalking over to me, and I began backing up, until I reached a wall. "It's not my fault.." I murmured, but that only fueled his anger. He brought his hand down against the side of my face. Hard. I slumped to the floor, and he hit me once more for good measure before walking away, and I was left in the floor, crying.
