All was nice and calm in the Coleman house.

Until Pamela Coleman was kidnapped.

Now at 16 years, Richard Coleman has finally allowed his only daughter Natalie to leave the house

Well after her twin brother Nathaniel and older brother Zach helps out

Making friends was easy. After all Nathan had his best friend Jack and close buds Tasha and Donny (all of who were secretly the heroes of the city, the Defenders)

Then there's the occasional mean girl Amber........

Everything was smooth again, until a failed kidnap attempt during a concert.

Then the Defenders begin to question, who is this girl? And why do the Katari want her so bad?

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
