Like most teens her age, Kalina Parrish thought that she had it all figured out. That her life would get better when she graduated high school and moved on to bigger and better things.

Her perception of her father took a complete one-eighty, and she doesn't know who to turn to for help. So when her grandfather winds up in the hospital with symptoms no one can make sense of, she finds that things just don't stop changing.

Kalina's problems are shot up to one hundred, leaving her with more questions than answers, along with a mysterious gold-eyed asshole that just keeps popping up in her life. Now with a mind full of new information of a life that she never knew existed, what will Kalina do with herself- stay in her comfort zone and live a normal life, or take the leap into the unknown with her family?

There's a part of me excited, though the larger part is scared to death. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!
