Best friends Raelynn and Max are about to get the results of their placement tests while miles away best friends and caregivers Becca and April have been waiting years to meet their match.
We met Rae and Becca in Perfect Match, but this is their story how they met and their lives together. (If you have read You + Me = Perfect Match the stories are completely independent, you can read one without reading the other. The first few chapters are familiar but not the same because I wanted to show the meeting from their perspectives as well.)

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Beck is top of her class when it comes to Maths and Science and her future seems bright. However, she struggles with social anxiety and relationships. Beck is autistic and spends most of her life locked away in her own mind as she reads her collection of books to escape her abusive alcoholic father. But once her eyes meet a grey eyed boy from across the room her world won't be the same. (18+ violence, adult themes, bullying, harassment and other issues) Being Autistic myself I have put a lot of me in this book. I've exaggerated certain aspects for entertainment values but other than that this is how awkward I feel most of the time. I don't see many books by women who write about their experiences in a creative way to spread awareness in a fun and compassionate way. This is mine I guess.
