Skylar Montgomery was bullied for her appearance and having no mother before she came to Cedar Valley High School. She made a promise to herself that she'd stay strong, even when things got difficult. She took a good look at herself in the mirror and made any changes she felt necessary, but still felt insecure. A year goes by at her new school and she's made some new, dependable friends.             

But what happens when her older brother's best friend who is the supposed bad boy, Jace Forrester with a secret comes into the picture?               

Are people really who they make themselves out to be?

One day when they're seated together for an assignment they both can't take it anymore and come up with a plan to get their idiots together. Well more likely a deal. He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people.
