Solomon Lane was successfully captured by the IMF and the CIA decided to settle the rest. However, the conflict between the MI6 was never finished. Ethan Hunt comes to a conclusion of getting off the connection between the world unfinished havoc for a while, but he knows that a world without him, completion of any mission regarding chaos would be impossible.
This story is the aftermath of "Mission Impossible Fallout" and the journey of each character including ceaseless flawless action towards the end of Hunt's purpose.
