Even as a baby, little Liyana Hayashi is able to attract many kinds of magical creatures especially of the faery kins.
When she was born, there happened to be a lot of unexplainable things surrounding her that time --- which were all quite magical as her grandmother would describe. But when she turned six years old, everybody was bewildered; for just as when all the family members were starting to cope up with all of it and are getting used to those phenomenons, all of it just ceased. Then, her parents decided to move to France but with Liyana's insistence of staying with her grandmother, she was left behind.
Twelve years later, Liyana's grandmother passed away leaving nothing behind not even a couple of sentimental exchange just like when a bubble pops but little did they know, beloved grandmother had already other plans and left something much more special behind.
Not a property nor position but something one would NEVER expect...

Fire surrounded me and I opened my wings, appearing almost stationary in mid air only about 20 meters from the water. Before I could move them, a horrid shot of pain ripped through my wing as I fealt it tear. I shrieked and whirled around as my wings deteriorated and hit the water first. A stabbing pain in my back hit me first, then another one in the back of my head, causing my vision to black out."Complete

Todd is joined by an Elder, the Scribe, who is the keeper of all people and events on Earth. They need to gather all the little angels from earth and return them to Heaven before the news reporters discover the truth. And he must do it without being seen by his mother. Haley is the first one to convince. Meanwhile, on Earth, Alice (Todd's mother) has the daunting task of learning how to live without a part of her heart. Told from alternating POV (Todd and Alice) we follow their journey as they both travel into a new tomorrow neither of them expected to ever be so soon.Complete
