Though her true anima form remains a mystery to herself, Nyx knows that she needs to find a way to break the curse not only on herself, but on her father and her kingdom. Yet everyone who could help her claims Nyx already knows the way to break the curse herself; only she has forgotten.
Prince Gabriel accepts the offer to slay the beast that terrorised the villages on the boarder whilst still on the search for the girl with powerful magike who he had befriend and fallen in love with. When the prince escapes, having the knowledge that the king is locking him away out of fear of the power he possesses, and tries to leave. The guards are constantly searching for him and he is trapped in the town of Magnolia. When the beautiful maiden, Lucy Heartfillia, helps him away from the guards, he contemplates telling her that he is the prince. Before he can do anything strange events occur possibly reveling his true power.
