Soulless wonder

Maya is not human. She's not from around here, and unbeknown to everyone else she is secretly studying the human behaviour; for what reason this is unknown. She acts to everyone else as an average person who is just shy and not bothered about making friends, but really she is always on full alert studying her subjects to make sure that they are not in danger. Once Maya gets involved with this subject who is different she starts to behave differently and it is down to her to find out what is really happening to herself, and how it leads to her discovery to how humans are capable to love and feel emotions that she has never felt before. The mystery of her life evolves for her eventually, to find out what she's really been put here to do.
