Her name is Kaitlynn, sister to Greg and Niall Horan. Younger than Niall by 2 years, younger than Greg by 8. She doesn't remember how she got to where she is, but she does know that there would only be one smile to get her through the day. "I love you." She whispered to no one, for no one was there to catch her ungiven love. Slowly but surely, her life crumbles down beneath her very feet and it is up to her to decide whether to sink into the black hole of eternal despair , or let the one thing she wants more than anything to help her float. "Better off dead." They kept saying to her until it was engraved in her head for all eternity. She doesn't understand why, but she knows they're right. And how wouldn't she, if her own brother is part of those demons inside her head? Her father seems to ignore it when she cries silently on the bathroom floor as the tears pour down her cheeks and the blood flows so freely it almost tickles with numbness. Numb. That's what she is. Numb. "Where do you want to be when you grow up?" Asked many people in years past. "Downtwon," she would reply with a smile as fake as can be. No one understood the reference until someone... did. But how? How could anyone ever understand her cruel little self-joke? Warning (and this will be the only warning in the book!!!): this story contains triggering self-harm actions, eating disorders, suicidal attempts and thoughts, and physical abuse. If you are suffering from any of those (and/or others), feel free to contact me on my private mailbox and I will listen and talk to you. I promise to do the best that I can to help with whatever you need, from talking to taking action. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. If you like it, comment your feedback, vote, follow (I follow back), and share with others! I love each and every one of you! By the way, if there's vernacular, it's because I want to show the accents for those who don't know... I'm from Limerick, Ireland, so... yeah.
