Shuichi beat the Killing Game and has finally woken up from that murderous nightmare. Everyone is ok and nothing was permanent. The Remnants Of Despair are keeping them at Hopes Peak to live normal highschool lives again, but when things take a serious turn they learn they cannot escape all that's happened and they are trapped forever.
