I reach up the shelf, trying to get the folder he wanted. Feeling the stool wobble a bit underneath my heels. Finally my hand engulfs the corner of the folder and just in time. I fall. squeezing my eyes shut, I wait for the impact of the floor only to be caught by two arms. Just kidding. I found myself fall to the floor with a soft landing and a grunt.
I look at my soft landing to see Mr Archibald laying on his stomach, his head on the floor.
I stand up abruptly and "omg, I'm so sorry Sir. Please don't fire me, I'm sorry"
Instead of responding he sticks his thump up. Then I realised... this isn't some clique romance book, this is real life and I just nearly lost my job.
