Chapter 1 I remember... I remember sitting in that airplane seat and looking around to see all the people looking out the window wondering when there gonna board there next flight , when were gonna arrive but mostly when they were getting home. That's all I could think of. Id been traveling on a family trip to Ecuador coming back home to Charlotte when the worst thing in the world could've happened to us all. I stopped the story and looked up at the nicely dressed man who looked at me for more details. I said " I'm sorry but talking about this upsets me" he said back " I know it's upsetting you but I need to know what happened to you during that plane crash." No one understood that what happened during that crash changed my life forever. I didn't want to remember. I didn't want to think of the things I had to do to survive for those 3 horrific months of not knowing what I was going to do. Not knowing if I was going to die. Not knowing what had happened to My family. So.. I continued but from the beginning This.. This is my story.

"Zachary." I snickered. He growled playfully as I laughed, dodging his attempt to grab me and took off running in a random direction. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. You like to not think about how it ruined your favorite pair of shoes. He messed up again, and kicked the machine. You yelled out to him "That thing costs money you know." then he looked at you. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball.
