*This story is going to be rewritten, so this is not the official version anymore. Stay tuned for more!* "His sister left him on the day humanity was finally destroyed." Alizarin Crymson lived in a dead sanctum, where beyond the borders of the last bastion of humanity lay only shadow and death. For the very gods of this world had been betrayed ages ago by the great treachery of their own creation, manifesting evil spirits in their absence that spread across the world like a plague. The Abyss. "But in Aestagia, we stayed true to the light against the Betrayers of Humanity. We are the last flame in endless dark! For your Queen, for your god, take up the spear and deliver punishment to the Betrayers! Become a sentry and fight for our future!" Thus spoke Queen Dahlia, the holy ruler of Aestagia, the last remaining god who walked on Sanctum. Alizarin and his sister Cerise spent their childhoods believing this message, and thought that if they became sentries, no harm would ever befall their home. In the army of the god-Queen, they could protect everyone. But time did not wait, as mere days before Alizarin and his sister could become sentries and take up arms against the darkness, the unthinkable happened. The capital of mankind was attacked by a different force beyond the borders, one that had been believed to have died long ago. And among them was Cerise Crymson, his sister, fighting for the ones who wanted the world destroyed. Who denounced their faith in the gods and plunged the world into darkness. The Betrayers of Humanity.
