Poisonous Past ✔️
Past is past and it's no longer existing. It should be forgotten, yet needs to be remembered to figure out some things. I'm young, not in a rush, but by the time this thing came in my way, I don't even know how to stop. I'm young, but has comprehension. I know that this thing is called "love". How you define love will be based on how you experienced it. For me, I'm quite unlucky. Love is bittersweet. Should be forgotten, but the past is haunting me, showing me every single detail about it. The poisonous past that chokes me for the time being. ~~~ Note: This entire story was written in combined language of Filipino (Tagalog) and English. Some of the characters I'll include here were borrowed by me from some old books that existed, and some from Kate Winslet's movie character/role. Credits to the real owners. (The rest were all made by me) Expect any kinds of errors (typographical, grammatical, punctuational, spellings) because I'm not perfect and this is unedited so sorry for that in advance. Life is composed of many algorithms, and sometimes it becomes hard to define. We used to see the solution, yet we are blind to the outcome of what's next after being solved. A compilation of words, emotions, sounds, letters, rhythm, languages, and perspectives creates another group of words to have a meaningful clarification. We used to feel the essence of everything until we burn, dive, drown, believe, and accept the meaning of it. And yet, after being heard, what outcome may come? We used to see a new perspective in the perfect direction to understand what's behind it. We take something into a new way of thinking to let the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual become our new swords in a painful yet enjoyable journey of life. Keep This Love Alive
"Many waters are incapable of quenching the flaming love, nor can the floods stop it." Love? Some say that love is a razor that will leave blood on your soul. Some say that love is a hunger for endless need. Some say that love is like chaff blown by the wind in a field. Some say that love is endless sorrow under the sun. But I covered my ears with them. Because in cowardice I see what they say. It is fearful heart that does not resist so fails. This is the dream of waking up that would rather turn a blind eye than face the pain. Afraid to die to live. When the night is too sad and the road is too long and you think that love is only for the brave and strong, it just proves that in love you are not faithful. Love can be compared to the crocodile's adventure, You can't catch him with a fishing rod. You can't stick his tongue out with a bandage, nor can you put a bandage on his nose. Neither can you cut his skin with an iron dagger, nor can you play with him like a bird. And even if the adventure ends in vain, If Love is your reason, no moment's in pain. And you will always remember, In winter under the bitter snow lies the seed with enthusiasm waiting for the spring sun. Life is supposed to be the most exciting journey for every individual like us. We create our destiny by letting our dreams come true. We want to achieve our goal to be independent in our ways and have a successful career later on. Yet in life, we sometimes need to accept the fact that there is something we can't control, especially if our parents are involved. They want us to do something that we are not ready yet to experience and they are still pushing it. When the time comes that what they had been looking for is already there they change their mind and want to end things with the person they loved. What is she gonna do? Will she give up everything for her own opinion about it or just let it fly? Then, What if destiny plays games with her by letting her get involved with someone she doesn't like after she encounters him? Also, is it a mistake to not trust the person she encountered since she never sees his face because she is always using a mask for some reason that she doesn't know? And also, what if that person is the same individual that her parents want for her? Is she giving it a try and letting it go; Ignoring what her parents want for her? Then, what if one day, her love of a lifetime is exposed to something that makes her life twist 360 degrees upside down? Will she give it a try and start something new? Then, what if the same person didn't like exposing secrets that shocked her whole new world? What is she going to do too complicated things that she is scared of?
