Phoenix Cooper is shy. Extremely shy. She's sixteen and has always followed the rules. That is until her mother leaves and her father gets remarried to the step-monster who brings along the step-witches. Phoenix's dad's a cop. And there's on person he'd hate for her to be involved with. Jesse Lawson. Jesse is the baddest bad boy there is. He's seventeen and has been in and out of juvie ever since he was twelve. He's sarcastic, arrogant and an overall jerk. Phoenix takes it as the perfect opportunity to make her dad suffer, but along the way, she discovers that theres a lot more to this bad boy.
