Flowers and Fairies

Daisy is an adventurous girl living in medieval times when girls weren't meant to be adventurous. She loves running in the woods where she's forbidden to go, and she is always barefoot. But Daisy has a bigger secret than just that. Her closest friend is a fairy, who are famed for their trickery and evil. But Daisy trusts her fairy friend and chooses to run away with her, so as to avoid being forced to marry. At first, Daisy finds herself in paradise. But what happens when one of those scary fairy tales begins to come true?

This is a story about learning not to run from your fears, of becoming independent and fearless, and understanding love.
