Alex Kling is an ordinary teenage boy who goes to a tiny school in a tiny town in a tiny state.  However, one day during an average Language Arts class, a mysterious man bursts in and a girl who he never really knew fights him with fire - literally. He soon finds out that he's the prince of the Fire Clan - and that he must lead them in a war.

*This story jumps between the point of view of Alex and Starfire.
