Mizuki Cross is a hotheaded individual with the calm Kaname Kuran consistently over her shoulder. She's been feeling strange around him, but knowing why is something she's too nervous to know. But Mizuki doesn't want to think about this; she has too much on her plate trying to be a Guardian of Cross Academy.

Cross Academy is a famous high school everyone wants to be accepted to. But no one knows its actual intention: to have humans live peacefully with vampires. It's a bad idea, but the Guardians, Mizuki, Yuki, and Zero, ensure everything runs smoothly. But things are more complicated than expected when the human students are unknowingly infatuated with the blood-thirsty beings, the Night Class. The typical school chaos, such as bullies and creepy teachers, is another problem. But there's something wrong, and we're not talking about the sickness Mizuki is unaware that she has or the impending decision Yuki would have to make that could risk her life. But Zero is trying hard to hide something about himself that repulses him, much to the delight of his secret admirer.

All Mizuki wants is to live peacefully with her family after graduating from this crazy school. It's not simple, though; Mizuki's life has not yet started, and Kaname knows this.
