At the age of seven, Abel Kaine was orphaned when his mother was mysteriously killed. Alone, he was taken in by the Lochner family. He grew to see these people as his family, though he still felt a pit of resentment towards his father, whom he'd never met and had left before he was born.

However, when Abel's world is flipped on its head, he must learn to live in a world filled with an unimaginable darkness, but with some of that darkness seemingly residing within him. He can feel it when he's alone, and when he's asleep. Something hidden beneath the the black curtain tempts him to delve further into the mystery, for it could help him solve his mother's murder - and guide him to discovering who he really is.

In the Mind

22 parts Complete

To most people, dreams are created inside one's head. Merely one's imagination while they sleep. A nightmare being the more satanic imagination one's mind creates. But almost all can agree that dreams and nightmares are just one's imagination. Nothing more than a mere image. However, 13 year old Elijah disagrees after being haunted over and over again from the creature within his nightmares. Little by little, it takes a piece of his life, leaving him more and more alone. Desperate to find out why he's being tortured, he searches to find answers. But the creature becomes more horrid and aggressive. Will Elijah end the beast's attempts to break apart his life, or will he be left with nothing at all?
