Horizons Storm

A young girl sits in a crooked hallway, the walls painted vibrantly in jeweled shades as a naked woman parades past with a faceless man. Over the cacophonous sounds of debauchery, the girl can hear the distant crash of waves against the harbor, wondering why her brother had followed the woman known as Madame Myra into a garish building called the Mariposa. She closes her eyes, searching for her Sight in the darkness behind her lids, but knows the gift won't let her see her own fate.

Taja Asil has spent the last four years of her life trapped in a brothel known as the Mariposa, run by a viscous woman named Madame Myra. Her endless days are spent locked in her room reading fortunes, while her nights are spent in the company of men she's never met. Sold by her brother and no longer able to use her gift of Sight, Taja is stranded and alone.
That is, until renowned marauder, thief, and pirate Andreas Morrow crashes through her bedroom window offering freedom. What Taja has yet to realize is that on the open seas nothing is given without a price, and to never trust a pirate.
