One person to cause a crack.
One crack to cause a breach.
One breach to cause a shift of balance.
One shift to totally change reality.


The earth is a harsh place: overpopulation, government corruption, and depleted resources. The reality certainly is grim. But underlaying the reality is the void. And when the void breaches reality, the world changes in a way no one has ever seen before.
Suddenly the entire being of reality, the laws of science, even the very existence of energy, is rewritten. Electricity fails, replaced by a different source of power. In the aftermath, a new effect is revealed: magic. Or at least something that appears like magic.
