Willsborough is a sleepy town that no one talks about. Boring people living boring lives to have a boring time at a boring casino. It's small, everyone knows everyone, and it's secrets are ones that get people killed.

When Luke Hemmings returns to his hometown after causing trouble in college, he finds that even more trouble was waiting for him in his old stomping grounds.

Sloan Brooker is someone who showed up to Willsborough, with a two year old, 4 years ago when she was 17. With the exception of a few people, that's the most anyone knows about her.

Luke begins to ask more and more questions about a place that should be familiar to him. He asks about what his old friends are hiding. He asks about the money his mother is anonymously receiving. He asks about the girl no one knows about.
