Introduction Once a quivering girl realizes that she is in the depth of Nazi Germany there is no turning back. There is no answer staring in your eye that says that rescue will come. No words can help you. Only death is satisfying. Do not get alarmed, for there is truly no reason to. In a way it might sound as if there is no way out. Or is there? Once you enter, your mind swirls. The decent memory of your family perishes then and there. What thought you might think will help turn its back on you. But, there is one thing that shall allow you to survive. This girl, she was called Liesel, or at least that’s what everyone thought her name was. Liesel was much of mystery; there were no signs of her parents, so she was shipped off from her hometown Munich up to Stuttgart. The Himmel’s were her family now. Wessel and Mariele Himmel. Mariele was obnoxious, rude, and abrupt. Wessel was different in many ways, you’ll see, but he doesn’t really enjoy talking. Let me show you the course of this adventure, where to start, how Liesel grows, how the little things add to the story, and where we’ll both end up.
